Welcome to When To Stream’s super-sized monthly preview! We’re here to give you an overview of the top streaming titles (including PVOD, Digital, and SVOD) expected in February 2025, and also give a glimpse at the films we expect to launch this month, but have not yet been announced.

Monday, February 3rd, 2025
KILL (Hulu)
Synopsis: When an army commando finds out his true love is engaged against her will, he boards a New Dehli-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, the commando takes them on, one by one.
Fun Fact: 87Eleven Entertainment, known for the 'John Wick' series, announced that they had purchased the rights to remake the movie in Hollywood.

ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: In Mumbai, Nurse Prabha's routine is troubled when she receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband. Her younger roommate, Anu, tries in vain to find a spot in the city to be intimate with her boyfriend. A trip to a beach town allows them to find a space for their desires to manifest.
Sad Fact: The first Indian film to screen in competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 30 years.
SEPTEMBER 5 (PVOD)
Synopsis: During the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, an American sports broadcasting team must adapt to live coverage the Israeli athletes being held hostage by a terrorist group.
Fun Fact: Co-star John Magaro was an extra on Steven Spielberg’s 2005 film Munich.
WISH YOU WERE HERE (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: Charlotte finds herself in a rut, searching for a spark that seems just out of reach. After she has a whirlwind night of romance and imagining a future with a man named Adam, he ghosts her. When Charlotte finally discovers that Adam is terminally ill, she helps him spend his last days living life to the fullest.
Fun Fact: Director Julia Stiles and star Isabelle Fuhrman co-starred in the 2022 sequel Orphan: First Kill.
WOLF MAN (PVOD)
Synopsis: With his marriage fraying, Blake persuades his wife Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit his remote childhood home in rural Oregon. As they arrive at the farmhouse in the dead of night, they're attacked by an unseen animal and barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. But as the night stretches on, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable.
Fun Fact: Ryan Gosling and director Derek Cianfrance were initially attached to the project, but eventually dropped out. Gosling retains an Executive Producer credit.

IN THE SUMMERS (Hulu)
Synopsis: On a journey that spans the formative years of their lives, two sisters navigate their loving but volatile father during their yearly summer visits to his home in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Fun Fact: The film won the Grand Jury Prize Dramatic as well as the U.S. Dramatic Award for Directing, Screenwriting and Editing at last year’s Sundance Film Festival.
KINDA PREGNANT (Netflix)
Synopsis: Jealous of her best friend's pregnancy, Lainy begins to wear a false pregnant belly - and accidentally gets to meet the man of her dreams.
Fun? Fact: This is Amy Schumer’s second Netflix feature. She previously appeared in last year’s Unfrosted: The Pop Tart Story.
Friday, February 7th, 2025
JAZZY (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: Jazzy navigates the space between childhood and young adulthood. When her best friend moves away, Jazzy experiences both a sense of loss and her first inkling of independence.
Fun Fact: The film is nominated for Best Editing and the John Cassavetes Producer’s Award at the upcoming Film Independent Spirit Awards.
PIECE BY PIECE (Peacock)
Synopsis: A unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams. Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music's most innovative minds.
Fun Fact: The film features a voice cast that includes frequent Pharrell Williams collaborators such as Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay-Z.
WE LIVE IN TIME (Max)
Synopsis: An up-and-coming chef and a recent divorcée find their lives forever changed when a chance encounter brings them together, in a decade-spanning, deeply moving romance.
Fun Fact: The famous carousel horse in the We Live in Time poster is the perfect avatar for our mental state in 2025.

BETTER MAN (PVOD)
Synopsis: Follow Robbie Williams' journey from childhood, to being the youngest member of chart-topping boyband Take That, through to his unparalleled achievements as a record-breaking solo artist – all the while confronting the challenges that stratospheric fame and success can bring.
Fun Fact: The song "Forbidden Road" received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. The song was also shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 97th Academy Awards, but was disqualified from consideration due to the song incorporating material from an already existing song.
OMNI LOOP (Hulu)
Synopsis: Diagnosed with a black hole growing inside her chest and stuck in a loop reliving the last five days of her life, a 55-year-old wife and mother from Miami, Florida decides to solve time travel in order to go back and be the person she always intended to be.
Fun Fact: The screenplay was selected for the 2017 Sundance Institute Screenwriting Lab, and in June 2023 received finishing funds for post-production from Amazon Studios and the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

BRIDGET JONES: MAD ABOUT THE BOY (Peacock)
Synopsis: Now a widowed mother of two in her fifties, Bridget Jones feels lost in the world of app-based dating. However, romance unexpectedly sparks with her son’s science teacher… and a much younger man.
Fun Fact: The producers of the Bridget Jones franchise continue to insist Renee Zellweger make ‘Macaulay Culkin face’ in all of the posters.
BROKEN RAGE (Prime Video)
Synopsis: A hitman named Nezumi fights for his survival when he's caught between the police and yakuza.
Fun Fact: Tadanobu Asano, who plays the lead detective in the film, just won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for Shogun.
LA DOLCE VILLA (Netflix)
Synopsis: Successful businessman Eric travels to Italy to stop his daydreaming daughter Olivia from blowing her life savings on restoring a crumbling villa she purchased for €1. Italy, however, has different plans for him as it delivers on its legendary promise of beauty, magic, and romance.
Fun Fact: Director Mark Waters is the filmmaker behind 2003’s Freaky Friday and 2004’s Mean Girls.

Synopsis: Two highly trained operatives are appointed to posts across a vast and very secret gorge.
Fun Fact: In December 2020, Zach Dean's spec-script for The Gorge was revealed to be on that year's "Black List" of the most-liked unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.
TERRIFIER 3 (Screambox)
Synopsis: Five years after surviving Art the Clown's Halloween massacre, Sienna and Jonathan are still struggling to rebuild their shattered lives. As the holiday season approaches, they try to embrace the Christmas spirit and leave the horrors of the past behind. But just when they think they're safe, Art returns, determined to turn their holiday cheer into a new nightmare. The festive season quickly unravels as Art unleashes his twisted brand of terror, proving that no holiday is safe.
Fun Fact: Earning $89.8M, Terrifier 3 is the highest grossing unrated film of all time.
WAITRESS: THE MUSICAL (Max)
Synopsis: A waitress and expert pie-maker dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.
Fun Fact: Playing a couple in the show, Sara Bareilles and Joe Tippett are also a real-life couple. The pair met during the early stages of Waitress's production in 2015 and became engaged in 2023.

WATCHMEN: CHAPTER II (Max)
Synopsis: Suspicious of the events ensnaring their former colleagues, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre are spurred out of retirement to investigate. As they grapple with personal ethics, inner demons and a society turned against them, they race the clock to uncover a deepening plot that might trigger global nuclear war.
Sad Fact: The film is the fifty-eighth and final installment of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies.

THE CROW (Starz)
Synopsis: Soulmates Eric and Shelly are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
Sad Fact: The final film of producer Edward R. Pressman, who died on January 11, 2023, while the film was in post-production. He also produced the original 1994 version of The Crow.

ELEVATION (Max)
Synopsis: A single father and two women venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy.
Fun Fact: Director George Nolfi has just been tapped to write New Jedi Order, the Daisy Ridley-centric Star Wars movie.
MILLERS IN MARRIAGE (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: Eve Miller, a former indie rock singer, struggles with her toxic marriage while growing attracted to a music journalist. Her sister Maggie, a bestselling author, faces marital discord as her career overshadows her husband's.
Fun Fact: A Morena Baccarin double feature? The actress appears in this family drama and the above mentioned Elevation.
THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT (Hulu)
Synopsis: In order to escape the police after a robbery, two estranged siblings lay low in a metaphysical farmhouse that hides them away in a different time. There they reckon with a mysterious force that pushes their familial bonds to unnatural breaking points.
Fun Fact: Cinematographer Carissa Dorson also shoots episodes of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula on Shudder.

1992 (Starz)
Synopsis: In 1992, Mercer is desperately trying to rebuild his life and his relationship with his son amidst the turbulent Los Angeles uprising following the Rodney King verdict. Across town, another father and son put their own strained relationship to the test as they plot a dangerous heist to steal catalytic converters, which contain valuable platinum from the factory where Mercer works. As tensions rise and chaos erupts, both families reach their boiling points when their worlds collide.
Sad Fact: The last movie Ray Liotta filmed, and the last to be released in theaters. Liotta had completed filming all his scenes before his death in May 2022.
