Welcome to When To Stream’s super-sized monthly preview! We’re here to give you an overview of the top streaming titles (including PVOD, Digital, and SVOD) expected in October 2024, and also give a glimpse at the films we expect to launch this month, but have not yet been announced.

  • Synopsis: Takumi and his daughter Hana live in Mizubiki Village, close to Tokyo. One day, the village inhabitants become aware of a plan to build a camping site near Takumi's house offering city residents a comfortable "escape" to nature.

  • Fun Fact: Director Ryûsuke Hamaguchi decided to cast Hitoshi Omika in the lead role after Omika spent time driving Hamaguchi around to rural locations in Japan to pick out locations to film for the director's concert film "Gift".
